Hi, friends and family,
Here’s a little teaser of what I’ve been up to. I expect the project to be ready for its debut before Thanksgiving. This is my obsession at the moment. I spend every minute I can spare working on it. I have a couple of guitar repairs that the owner says he doesn’t mind me taking my time on. But, I still feel a little guilty spending all my time on the new build . . . But, IT’S AWESOME!!! When I retire from my current career and start-up my luthier business, I will be able to delegate time more efficiently, I think.
Okay . . . Here are some pictures that I hope will interest you in this very cool bass build/prototype. I plan to sell versions of this bass and other stringed instruments starting sometime next year.
Thanks for reading and love to all,
David T

The African Limba to the left may be used on the next build . . .

More to come, soon . . . The build is way beyond what these pictures show . . .
